Sailor Moon: Tuxedo Mask

“Tuxedo Mask” is a disguise Chiba Mamoru created for himself in order to hunt for the Silver Crystal incognito. He later used this persona to assist the Sailor Senshi in battle. It was revealed in the series that he takes the place of Sailor Earth, the only male Senshi in the group.

I didn’t know that about Tuxedo Mask. I knew he was from Earth, but I didn’t think of him much as a Senshi. Awesome cosplay by Twin Fools and photography by Miko Piko!

Sailor Moon: Sailor Jupiter 02

One of the most consistent characters in Sailor Moon, Sailor Jupiter is depicted as simultaneously the most masculine and most feminine of the younger Senshi. She is tall, strong, and practices martial arts and other sports, but she is also an excellent cook and house-cleaner. As Makoto, she also joined cooking and gardening clubs in her high school.

Sailor Moon: Sailor Moon

A schoolgirl in 20th Century Tokyo, Usagi is a well-intentioned, underachieving crybaby who prefers the life of a normal teenage girl. While fighting the evils of her past life as Sailor Moon, Usagi quickly matures and learns to make decisions for herself, becoming a true princess of the fallen Moon Kingdom.
At least, that’s how she is in the original manga!
I know she's Sailor Moon, but I'm a little confused as to which season from the metaseries she's from. Her hairclips make it look like she's from SuperS, but I don’t think the sleeves are right. And gold armbands? I’m really confused.

Sailor Moon S: Sailor Neptune 04

Kaio Michiru is the Senshi most associated with the arts, having known skills in playing the violin, swimming, as well as painting. In Sailor Moon S, Michiru appears as temptation for Mamoru, parallel to Haruka appearing as temptation for Usagi. She has never made any advances on Mamoru, but Usagi is still jealous whenever she sees them together.
Blueocean87 makes a beautiful Sailor Neptune in Leipziger Buchmesse / Leipzig Book Fair 2009! It makes me wonder if she’s wearing colored contacts, or of those are her real eyes’ colors.

Sailor Moon R: Moonlight Knight

At the end of the first arc, everyone’s memories were hidden so that Tsukino Usagi’s wish to become a normal girl could be granted. Such was the case for Chiba Mamoru but he subconsciously still wanted to protect Usagi so strongly that his memories separated from him and reformed into the Moonlight Knight. Although Moonlight Knight can co-exist with Mamoru in the same space and time, Moonlight Knight rejoined Mamoru when he regained his memories and Moonlight Knight disappeared forever.
Impressive cosplay! I didn’t think there were still a lot of fans from this meta series, but seeing Raven cosplayed Moonlight Knight in Sakura Con 2010, I guess I was wrong.

Sailor Moon S: Sailor Chibi Moon

The outgoing daughter of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Chibi Moon dreams of becoming a beautiful lady one day. She is a perfectionist who prefers to do things alone so she can have her way. As the series progresses, she learns to open herself more, learning what true maturity really is.

I didn’t think anyone could get her hair to look quite that right. But I think I like her red eyes more than anything! Very convincing cosplay, and it even has Konata’s stamp of approval! Great work!

Sailor Moon Musicals: Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Neptune

Also known as the “Outer Senshi”, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Neptune form a secondary group, along with Sailor Saturn. Previously, all of them preferred to work alone, but Sailor Uranus was able to trust Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto after fighting along side with them.

Sailor Pluto is known as the Guardian of Time, while Sailor Neptune is the Soldier of Ocean, and Sailor Uranus is the Soldier of the Sky.

I’m not even sure if they are cosplayers or the official cast of the musical, but they are very pretty. Thanks to Soyoungim for the photo!

Sailor Moon R Brooch

Sailor Moon R Brooch

A few weeks ago I ordered a couple of craft foam sheets in various of colours, to see whether or not they would work for my cosplay. After realising how fun and easy it is to work with, I wanted to show you mine new Sailor Moon brooch. It is huge and if you want it, check out my give away here!

Now back to the brooch. It is made of craft foam in three layers, not perfect but good for a first try, various pearls I could find at home and glued together with school glue.

I cut the craft foam with my kitchen scissor and it was easy to correct mistake, as long as it was something to cut away. 

It ended up a bit larger than my last brooch. :)
